“Old Granny” is one of the artist personal favorites. This is a print of an oil painting that depicts a McCormick Deering tractor that was used by the artist's wife's grandfather on his farm in Gibsonville, NC. The tractor got it's name "Old Granny" from the children of the family. John was a big influence in Kevin's life because of his faith in God and love for his family. When John passed, Kevin wanted to paint a tribute to him and it seemed fitting to paint "Old Granny" sitting idle in her shed just as John had left her. The tractor is still being used today to work the fields on the farm.
The print measures 20” by 16” (printed area 15.5" by 11") and is a limited edition offset lithograph of an original oil painting by Kevin D. Trotter that was published in 2001. The edition has been limited to 2000 prints and is signed and numbered by the artist on an acid-free archival paper. Kevin D. Trotter reserves the right to use this image on other products.
